What do you need to arrange? Nothing at all. Well, some good people to make your party complete. We do not charge venue hire and we do not work with drink packages.

Frequently asked questions about hire

For how many people can I hire K2?

The whole ski bar is yours, with room for up to 150 guests. Smaller groups: just ask and we will see what fits.

What does the venue cost?

We do not charge venue hire and we do not work with drink packages: you pay for what is drunk. We make a tailored proposal beforehand.

Can I bring my own DJ or artist?

Yes. There is a full DJ set and sound system; bring your own DJ or artist or let us take care of it.

Can I decorate?

Certainly: when the bar is yours for the evening, go wild. Your own slideshow on the TVs works too.

Is there an age limit?

Yes, because of our door policy private parties are for 18 and over.

Until what time can the party go on?

In principle until the bar closes; other times by arrangement.

How do my guests get there?

K2 is on Thorbeckeplein, next to Rembrandtplein: trams 4 and 14 stop at the door, metro 51, 53 and 54 at Waterlooplein (a five-minute walk). Parking at The Bank car park (Amstelstraat, book ahead) or P1 Waterlooplein.
